This department offers programs to help the professionals understand the basic principles of family and community health in rural and urban areas.
Clinical Experience for both undergraduate and postgraduate students is provided at the Institute Public Health, MCH Center, Primary Health Center
and Rural Health Centre at Gandhigram. The students are given opportunity for field visits in District T.B. Centre, District Leprosy Centre and Infectious
Disease Hospital.
