Department of Community Medicine

The department of community medicine imparts community oriented teaching for MBBS. M.Sc, PhD, BPT and MPT students. It also provides academic support for postgraduate dental Students.

Outreach activities in the form of out patient department, health education, routine consultation and treatment for common ailments at rural health training center at Kuthambakkam, a village adapted by Saveetha Medical College Hospital.

Statistical consultation for all types of research activities and project works.

Student's Seminar

The department conducted a student seminar on World AIDS Day on 1^st Dec 2008. It also guided the 1^st year MBBS students for organising street play and posters regarding World AIDS Day.
