Hospital

A 600  bedded full fledged teaching general hospital is functioning for the benefit of the students and to cater the need of the local population. The hospital has six major operation Theaters, two minor operation Theaters, a labour room and intensive care unit. Centrally Air-conditoned sophisticated classrooms and laboratories with specially designed furnitures, architecturally and aesthetically designed modern sophisticated building.

Library

A well equipped library in an area of 12000 sq. feet with huge volume of books and more than 50 national and international journals are available for students that is functional from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Photocopier facilities are also available for students.

Internet Facility

Air-conditioned Internet center with 8 Mbps wireless dedicated line with high-end computers are provided for the student's use. The campus is fully connected with WiFi. Parents and students can access the net to know the performance, attendance and marks etc. 

Seminar Halls And Auditoriums

A large examination cum auditorium with a seating capacity of 400 with modern facilities is located within the campus.  This auditorium is provided with modern gadgets like LCD projectors, multimedia systems, slide projectors and video conferencing facilities.

BRULAC(Biomedical Unit and Lab Animal Center)

Its is 10,000 sq.ft lab facility with small animals like rat,rabbit,genuine pig and large animal like goat.Students can pursue research activities under the supervision of a Verterinary Surgeon.
Some of the important research:
  • Effects of bradykinin on isoprotenol induced mycocardial infarction in rats.
  • Systomartometrics charecterisation of osseo integration during locally made mini screw healing in rat femur.
  • Healing pattern of surgically created and repaired cleft palate in rats.
  • Therapeutic effect of a novel drug in cyclosporine induced nephrotoxicity.

Hostels

The College provides separate hostel facilities within the campus for both boys and girls. The  hostelities  are provided with single rooms having attached bath and geysers, provisions for computers, telephone, television, refrigerator and air conditioner. Library and recreational facilities including gymnasium are also provided.

Bank and other utilities

24 hours ATM facility available in the campus. Canteen and Mess are provided with modern steam kitchens. A well laid playground in an area of 10 acres with facilities for outdoor sports.Sewage Treatment plant: The modern sewage treatment plant is provided for efficient wastage management. Incinerator: Biological wastes are disposed off with modern incinerator and also taken care by Tamilnadu Waste Management Ltd.

Water Supply

24 Hours treated water supply. Mineral water is supplied for drinking purpose with imported Reverse Osmosis plant. Power Supply: (i) Electric Supply is provided with 500 KVA HT Transformer (ii) Uninterrupted Power Supply using 3 generators having total capacity of 1000 KVA are available. 

Transport

Transport facility for staff and students to travel to and fro their home is available utilizing 27 Hi-Tech air buses.
