SDC 13 Climate Action

Extreme events, including wildfires, floods and hurricanes, have become a frightening new normal. Hotter temperatures, air pollution and violent storms are leading to immediate, life-threatening dangers on earth. To contribute a positive approach towards this goal, a series of workshops and webinars by all institutions of the University are being conducted for the awareness. MoU has been signed with different NGOs to look into the various aspects to fulfil the need. The University has done immense tree plantations to contribute towards the achievement. The different participations based on greenhouse effect, carbon emission, global warming potential etc are widely being conducted at university level.
